The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East is the agency that will be responsible for channeling the aid that will be provided.
A humanitarian aid of US$20 million will be provided to the Palestinian people under the direction of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the UAE.
This aid, which will be channelled through the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), reflects the UAE’s policy to provide urgent assistance and relief to vulnerable populations worldwide and those in need in times of crisis, through the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA).
