UAE Passport holders can travel to 121 countries without a visa and get a visa on arrival in 59 countries
The UAE passport has been ranked number one based on the mobility score index. Mobility score index indicates the ease and freedom when traveling in and out of the country, and the regulations for the visa.
Globally, the UAE passport has scored mobility score of 181 which is the highest at the moment. The score was given on the basis of opportunities given for visa-free and visa-on-arrival travel to other countries. UAE passport holders can now travel hassle-free to 121 countries as they do not need a visa. Moreover, 59 countries will grant a visa on arrival to the travelers with UAE passport. UAE passport holders need visa for 19 countries only.
The UAE has beaten countries like Sweden, Luxembourg and Finland on mobility and freedom to travel graphs. When compared to the second ranked German passport, UAE passport holders can enter 13 more countries. In comparison to the UAE, USA passport holders can have visa-free travel to 109 countries only and have provision of visa on arrival for 56 countries. There are 26 countries for which the USA passport holders have to apply for a visa.
Numerous reforms and administrative decisions have helped the country achieve this rank worldwide. The population of UAE is around 10 million out of which 90 percent are foreign expats. There are around 1.5 million people having an Emirati passport. The country has a low crime rate and is considered as the safest country in the world.
UAE also introduced a remote workers visa and also normalised its relations with Israel. The country has also made agreements with different countries and made major investments. The UAE also has not broken travel ties with Belarus and Russia regarding the war with Ukraine which made it a highly desirable destination. The increase in immigration led to a property boom in Dubai, the tourism and commercial capital of the UAE.
