The Selfie Kingdom Gives UAE Students An Opportunity To Still Have A Memorable Graduation

The Selfie Kingdom creates  a safe and fun graduation/ Prom experience for those who have missed out

The pandemic has changed the lives of many students who had to stream online classes and tests. However, this academic year is especially bittersweet for students who have missed their formal graduation ceremony, prom and celebrations that honour their academic accomplishments.

Knowing it’s once in a lifetime moment for both students and parents, The Selfie Kingdom (Dubai’s first Selfie Museum) is hosting a safe graduation and prom experience for students who have missed out on this celebration. In line with rules / regulations, TSK has installed an entire set-up with a graduation themed back-drop/ decor to take unlimited keepsake photos and videos. In addition, students can take pictures in other rooms and even have their prom experience in the party room. Every student will be provided with an inspirational certificate and voucher from Futures Abroad; which will include free counselling and guidance on how to cope with missed opportunities this year, what they should be focusing on, upcoming careers and next steps. Also, they will offer deserving/ exceptional students with unique scholarships programs.

Furthermore, TSK has collaborated with 3 vendors to support small local businesses in this difficult time; giving parents who have been eager to see their kids graduate a full experience. TSK has tied up with businesses – Scotpac L.L.C to provide gowns/ hat; Mister Baker for their exceptional cakes; and Balloons on the Go for additional décor.  Guests have the option to book just the entry or add-on any additional services from TSK’s partners for a complete experience.

“It’s an emotional time for students who were looking forward to the opportunity to cross the stage in front of their family, friends and peers. We installed this setup, where they can still capture this beautiful milestone in their lives and remember it forever,” said Rania Naffa, Chief Happiness Officer and Founder. “We also want the community to support local businesses that we have collaborated with and have been impacted by this pandemic. Parents / Students can opt for any additional services to make their experience even more memorable,” added Rania.

Vandana Mahajan, Founder of Futures Abroad said, “Graduation, for a student and their family whether in high school or university, is a huge deal. Students should remember this phase is not permanent and has taught us all to be resilient. You have to be optimistic as the future is still yours.”

Parents and students can visit www.theselfiekingdom.com for further details or book their graduation / prom experience online.
