GITEX 2024 – Editor’s Exclusive: SoftServe Targets Growth Across Key Sectors in the Middle East

Focus on leveraging AI-powered innovations and a consultative approach to drive business outcomes across key industries

Software development and consulting company, SoftServe, unveiled a series of AI-powered innovations at GITEX 2024, with a strong focus on driving business outcomes across multiple industries.

Speaking on the sidelines of the event, Fadi Kanafani, Middle East General Manager, highlighted the company’s strategy for advancing its presence in the Middle East through the introduction of cutting-edge technology industry-specific use cases.

“The theme for GITEX this year is AI; we are partnering with Dell and Cisco to showcase several AI and GenAI use cases that will stimulate clients’ interests in how to leverage cutting edge technologies to drive much needed efficiencies, improve customer experience, deliver industry related intelligence, and create with AI.” said Kanafani. “Whether it’s healthcare, manufacturing, oil and gas, or financial services, SoftServe is delivering business outcomes using artificial intelligence and generative AI. These innovations are not just theoretical—they are practical solutions designed to address real-world challenges.”

SoftServe’s portfolio of use cases aims to streamline operations across sectors. For

GITEX week, we selected several use cases for different industries to provide a different flavor of what could be achieved with AI, one related to content creation for retail for example, digital assistant in health care, FSI and sustainability.

We want to continue creating solutions that solve customer complex problems and drive real value for our clients,” he said.

While the company has not yet collaborated with universities in the region, Kanafani confirmed that this is on the horizon for SoftServe, as it continues to expand its knowledge base footprint in the Middle East.
