Sharjah Media City (Shams) launched the “Influencers Room ” programme on the sidelines of its participation in the 13th edition of the International Government Communication Forum. The programme aims to develop influencers and integrate them into the job market of the social media industry through a series of training workshops lasting six weeks.
The programme will serve as an accessible platform for all young talents and creatives across various social media channels, reinforcing the growth of businesses in this field and assisting them in transforming ideas into successful and impactful ventures. The “Influencers Room” program aims to empower content creators by equipping them with the necessary skills, knowledge, and confidence to succeed in this field, providing them with a unique opportunity for growth and professionalism.
The programme includes workshops and interactive sessions covering the essential aspects of influencer marketing, content creation, collaboration with brands, audience engagement, social media strategies, and personal branding, led by content industry experts in collaboration with global platforms, digital marketing specialists, and successful influencers.
The programme features inspiring talks from well-known influencers who will share their journeys, experiences, and valuable insights. There will be a focus on challenges, success stories, and tips for breaking through competition in this field. Participants will have the opportunity to network with peers, industry professionals, and potential partners, along with special meetings to facilitate collaboration and relationship-building within the emerging influencers and content creators’ community.
In the first week, the programme offers an introduction to digital marketing and an overview of the industry, the basics of influencer marketing, content creation, understanding audience behavior, setting goals, along with an introduction to the Meta platform. In the second week, workshops will cover skills in influence in media, engaging with followers and brands, an introduction to artificial intelligence, and a segment on the TikTok platform led by a specialised influencer. In the third week, a workshop will focus on media speaking and audience interaction, along with an introduction to Dolby.In the fourth week, the program will include a photography and photo editing workshop, as well as a workshop on using digital tools for storytelling. The fifth week will cover a media relations workshop and a workshop on digital content from concept to production, along with an introduction to the YouTube platform. In the sixth and final week, a workshop on using artificial intelligence in podcasting will be included.
