Bain & Company Announces Key Partnership with KAUST on the Future of Semiconductors Forum 2023 in KSA
The firm will leverage its wide experience in supporting global entities in the semiconductor sector at the forum, with a focus on localized production and sustainability
Bain & Company has announced a partnership with King Abdullah University of Science & Technology (KAUST) on its forthcoming Future of Semiconductors Forum 2023, which is being hosted in Thuwal, Jeddah from 15-18th May.
As well as sponsoring the forum, Bain & Company is also an official Content Partner to the four-day event. The agenda includes keynote addresses, panel discussions, specialist talks, and other activities around KSA’s fast-growing digital economy.
Bain is a leading global voice on semiconductor manufacturing, the firm will offer insight to attendees from its extensive expertise on topics such as chip shortages, global supply chain trends, as well as its creation of cutting-edge IP that is helping to shape the strategy of key players across the value chain.
Bain’s Velu Sinha, Partner, will address the forum on KSA’s opportunity to pioneer sustainable semiconductor manufacturing, drawing on Bain’s considerable experience in advising clients on how to tackle the environmental challenges in semiconductor manufacturing such as reducing water consumption, energy efficiency and transition. In addition, a panel discussion on how to localize KSA’s chip production industry will feature Bain’s Karim Shariff, Partner, and Jawad Abdulsamad, Associate Partner.
