Kuwait’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has said that the Iranian attacks at dawn on Wednesday once again targeted civilian and vital infrastructure, including Kuwait International Airport, resulting in the death of one person, injuries to others, as well as damage to critical facilities, including diplomatic missions.
The Ministry affirmed Kuwait’s absolute rejection of Iran’s blatant acts of aggression, which lead to further escalation, increase regional tensions, and undermine security and stability in the region.
The Ministry stressed that the security, sovereignty, and the safety of citizens and residents in the State of Kuwait are a red line that cannot be violated. It affirms that the repetition of such attacks represents a systematic hostile approach, which Kuwait will not accept or tolerate.
The Ministry further confirms that the State of Kuwait reserves its full and inherent right to take appropriate measures to respond to these repeated and unlawful Iranian attacks, in accordance with international law.
