Software development and consulting company, SoftServe, unveiled a series of AI-powered innovations at GITEX 2024, with a strong focus on driving business outcomes across multiple industries.
Speaking on the sidelines of the event, Fadi Kanafani, Middle East General Manager, highlighted the company’s strategy for advancing its presence in the Middle East through the introduction of cutting-edge technology industry-specific use cases.
“The theme for GITEX this year is AI; we are partnering with Dell and Cisco to showcase several AI and GenAI use cases that will stimulate clients’ interests in how to leverage cutting edge technologies to drive much needed efficiencies, improve customer experience, deliver industry related intelligence, and create with AI.” said Kanafani. “Whether it’s healthcare, manufacturing, oil and gas, or financial services, SoftServe is delivering business outcomes using artificial intelligence and generative AI. These innovations are not just theoretical—they are practical solutions designed to address real-world challenges.”
SoftServe’s portfolio of use cases aims to streamline operations across sectors. For
GITEX week, we selected several use cases for different industries to provide a different flavor of what could be achieved with AI, one related to content creation for retail for example, digital assistant in health care, FSI and sustainability.
Unlike traditional IT companies, SoftServe does not sell physical products. Our solutions are infrastructure agnostic. The company provides consulting and professional services that help clients achieve their potential and long-term business goals. “We don’t sell a product; we support our clients with knowledge and technical skills to achieve their aspirational business objectives and accelerate their digital transformation journey”. “We partner with clients through their journey at their own pace, ensuring they reach their desired business outcomes using and applying technology effectively.” explained Kanafani.
“SoftServe is at the forefront of creating solutions that others are only starting to talk about. We’re not just part of the conversation—we’re driving it,” Kanafani noted.
He emphasized that innovation shall continue to be at the heart of SoftServe’s strategy moving forward driven by a strong R&D centre of excellence. “Our vision for 2025 is to keep pushing the boundaries of what’s possible globally. We want to continue creating solutions that solve customer complex problems and drive real value for our clients,” he said.
As an established player in digital transformation with a history of more than three decades, SoftServe is keenly aware of the importance of talent in the tech industry. “Talent is always a challenge, especially when you want to be on the cutting edge,” said Kanafani. “At SoftServe, we have around 11,000 employees globally, most of whom are SMEs in their respective industries. We also have our own research and development unit and a SoftServe university in Poland, where we upskill not only our staff, but also our clients.”
While the company has not yet collaborated with universities in the region, Kanafani confirmed that this is on the horizon for SoftServe, as it continues to expand its knowledge base footprint in the Middle East.
