Jeep Tough Mudder to take place in Umm Al Quwain for the first time ever later this month
Jeep Tough Mudder is returning to the Emirates this year and is giving people in the UAE not one, but two chances to get their hands on a world-famous Tough Mudder orange headband.
A chance for people to push their physical and mental limits without the pressure of competition, the first Jeep Tough Mudder of the year will take place at Umm Al Quwain’s Mangrove Beach in partnership with Umm Al Quwain Tourism on Saturday 26th February 2022 and is set to be the biggest sporting event to date in the Emirate. People can also now sign up to take on the Tough Mudder challenge at Fujairah’s Adventure Park on Saturday 19th March 2022.
A unique experience that will test people’s toughness whilst putting a smile on their face, Jeep Tough Mudder is an exciting team challenge and each event will host two different course routes to choose from. Registration is now open for the Jeep Tough Mudder 5K, which includes 13+ obstacles on a 5km route, and the Jeep Tough Mudder 10km which hosts 25+ obstacles on a 10km route at both the Umm Al Quwain and Fujairah events.
Jeep Tough Mudder will return to the UAE later this month with its world-class obstacles that are built on the foundations of teamwork and community. Mudders can expect to be challenged by the Pyramid Scheme, an obstacle that will require teamwork and maximum effort to scramble up the slippery slope, as well as Spread Eagle, which will test booth balance and agility as Mudders need to stay balanced on a tight rope style challenge whilst suspended over water. The Cage Crawl will also make a comeback and will require Mudders to use their upper body strength to cling on overhead and keep moving through 60-inches of water with only 6-inches of air space, as will Everest, one of the event’s signature obstacles which also requires maximum determination and resilience to reach the top.
