Veganuary, Festival Garden, Expo 2020 Dubai

Veganuary, the first vegan food festival in the Middle East, brings an array of scrumptious delights and amazing culinary experiences for the vegan palate. Food lovers in Dubai can enjoy vegan delights, music, the eco-market place, Not Just for Vegans, with sustainable stalls and an organic spa with friends and family at the Expo 2020. The vegan food festival is to be held at the Festival Garden, Expo 2020 Dubai, from 14 January till 30 January 2022.

Veganuary restaurants at the Expo 2020 will be offering vegan burgers, pizzas and even chocolates and ice creams. The eateries offering these are Chuck Chick, Erpingham House, Vegan Dough Co, Holy Carrot, Floozie Cookies and Mylk among many other options. 

The festival would help vegan community in Dubai to come together and celebrate the simplicity of vegan lifestyle. Nearly 500,000 people in last year’s campaign pledged to adapt to the vegan lifestyle and this festival takes the pledge one step ahead.

Dhaba Lane, Dubai: India’s favourite dessert is now vegan  

Dhaba Lane, known for serving authentic Dhaba (roadside shacks on Indian Highways) delicacies in an urban setting in Dubai is celebrating the spirit of veganuary with the launch of a vegan version of a popular Indian dessert, Malai Kulfi.  Priced at AED 30, the vegan malai kulfi is made up of avocado, pistachio and plant based mylk, and is available at Dhaba Lane Karama and Al Garhoud.
