A Dh30 Billion Revolution: Mercedes-Benz and Binghatti Unveil the World’s First Branded Mega-City

The boundaries of luxury have been redrawn. In a move that fuses 140 years of automotive excellence with Dubai’s soaring architectural ambition, Binghatti has officially launched Mercedes-Benz Places | Binghatti City. This isn’t just a development; it is a Dh30 billion “city within a city,” a sprawling 10-million-square-foot masterplanned community in Meydan that marks the world’s first-ever urban-scale residential ecosystem branded by the German automotive giant.

The sheer scale of the project is unprecedented. Across 12 magnificent towers, the community will house 13,386 residential units, ranging from minimalist studios to expansive five-bedroom penthouses. In a poetic nod to the brand’s heritage, each tower is named after an iconic Mercedes-Benz concept car—including the visionary Vision One-Eleven, the historic Vision Mercedes Simplex, and the futuristic Vision AVTR. At the heart of it all stands the “Vision Iconic” building, a centerpiece designed to anchor a skyline that pulses with the brand’s philosophy of “Sensual Purity.”

Pricing has been crafted to invite a new generation into the world of branded living. Studios begin at Dh1.6 million, with one-bedroom units at Dh2.6 million and three-bedroom residences starting from Dh5 million. “We are extending this offering to more clientele… creating an entire living environment that bears our unmistakable identity,” says Axel Harries of Mercedes-Benz AG. To make this vision accessible, Binghatti has introduced a flexible 70:30 payment plan, allowing investors to secure a piece of history with a 10% down payment.

Inside, the experience is unmistakably Mercedes-Benz. The interiors utilize a timeless palette of black and silver, accented by leather and wood, mimicking the tactile luxury of a high-end cabin. Beyond the four walls, the community offers a “lifestyle ecosystem” unlike any other in Dubai. Residents will have access to 12 specialized sporting clubs—featuring everything from fencing and archery to golf simulators and sky jogging tracks—alongside the Crown Arena for world-class events and a lush “Grand Promenade” that serves as the district’s green spine.

As Muhammad BinGhatti, Chairman of Binghatti Holding, puts it: “This project represents our shared ambition to redefine how branded living is experienced at scale.” Entirely self-financed and strategically located just minutes from Downtown and DIFC, Mercedes-Benz Places | Binghatti City is not just a place to live—it is a Dh30 billion statement on the future of urban mobility and prestige.
