Space Falcon, Cruden participate in UMEX and SimTEX 2024

Space Falcon and Cruden companies participated in UMEX and SimTEX 2024 with a set of innovative unmanned aerial systems and simulators.

John Luca, Chief Technology Officer of Space Falcon, an Abu Dhabi company that was established six years ago, told the Emirates News Agency (WAM) that the company is participating in the exhibition with its automatic flight system.

The company is showcasing three unmanned drone systems that have the ability to fly 24/7 through an automated battery-changing system, he said.

For his part, Edwin de Vries, Chief Technology Officer of Cruden, the Amsterdam-based company that specialises in manufacturing simulators, said that the company is exhibiting its state-of-the-art fast graft simulator that trains fast boats’ pilots and navigators.

This simulator is used to train crews before they begin their actual training on the water, he added.

The UMEX and SimTEX exhibitions are organised by the Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company (ADNEC), in cooperation with the UAE Ministry of Defence, and take place until 25th January. The event provides a platform to discuss the latest developments, trends and innovations in the UAS (unmanned aircraft systems) sector.
