We are energy! Our bodies sense it, feel it and use it every second of the day. Reiki Energy Healing is a deeply nurturing therapeutic treatment to calm, soothe and heal your body, mind and soul. This session can be delivered individually or as part of a group and incorporates a guided meditation and receiving Reiki energy. Three: It’s ice, ice baby!
The Fire & Ice session is the ideal activity for a quick body recovery. All with a spectacular view of the lagoon. Using the authentic Himalayan salt in the hot sauna to purify the air and improve breathing and blood circulation, once you’ve warmed up, take a dip in the lagoon or sink into the custom ice baths. Submerging in icy water has many health benefits; reduces inflammation, boosts the immune system, aids weight loss, promotes better sleep and even focuses the mind. Four: Paddle Board yoga!
Fuse the calmness of yoga with the power energy bursts of HiiT- from dedicated breathwork and specific postures such as vinyasas and asanas to powerful HiiT sessions, The Lighthouse Retreat will test your balance and agility while exercising on a paddle board! It’s ALL about the balance. At The Lighthouse Retreat, everyone’s ready for a super fun yoga flow on the board and an energetic HiiT session. From planks to inversions, the paddle board yoga flow is a must, and if you really want to test your balance and stamina, then the paddle board HiiT is your way to go!
Five: Red Desert afternoons!
The desert is alive with transformative power. At The Lighthouse Retreat, the team believes in the healing energy of the desert, hence the programme incorporates an afternoon desert session for grounding using the healing power of the sand, going on a journey like no other to inner peace and connection with the higher self. The session includes a grounding walk, meditations on the dunes, and a lovely picnic whilst watching the sunset.
Guests can truly connect to their inner and outer worlds, within the perfect balance of nature and nurture at The Lighthouse Retreat. The wellness program is supported by two healthy food options: a mostly raw plant-based meal plan or a liquid detox which includes juices, soups and smoothies. The Retreat’s food options do not include processed carbohydrates, meat, dairy products or caffeine helping guests experience a truly detoxifying cleanse.
