Jacob & Co. and Bugatti launches the Bugatti Chiron Tourbillon Baguette Black and Orange. It began with an idea masterminded by Jacob & Co. together with Bugatti – how to reproduce the visceral sensation of the iconic Bugatti 16-cylinder engine in a timepiece. After almost a year of development, the answer is in the form of the Bugatti Chiron Tourbillon. Everything is designed to pay tribute the Chiron in a timepiece.
The Bugatti Chiron Tourbillon Baguette Black and Orange isis the newest version of a ground-breaking timepiece created by the two luxury brands. As with previous designs, it has a the exclusive on-demand engine animation that reproduces the motion of a 16-cylinder sports car, a flying tourbillon set on a 30º inclined, and the well-established tonneau-shaped case meant to emulate the streamline design of the famed Bugatti hyper sports car.
Inspired by the flowing lines of the Chiron, the newest version is engulfed with a case invisibly set in baguette-shaped diamonds and sapphires that adds sparkle and colour to its innovative design and function. Several breakthrough proprietary gem-setting techniques were used to create the colorful, sparkling case cover. The movement, which includes the “engine block,” is intended to duplicate the Bugatti engine.
The partnership between the sports car manufacturer, Bugatti, and Jacob & Co. has produced several custom-made designs of the Bugatti Chiron Tourbillon, a timepiece that emulates the streamline design and emotional impact of the iconic Chiron hyper sports car.
