This trendy new chronograph plays with transparency and colours to reprise the palette of the seasonal Versace fashion show
The Icon Active line of watches, launched by Versace last season and immediately a must-have for those who love to see a trendy urban timepiece on their wrists, is now enriched by a new chronograph with a contemporary personality.
The innovative transparent polycarbonate case, enclosed in an IP Champagne or IP Gun cage with four screws on the top ring, features bright colors that recall Versace’s palette for Spring-Summer 2022; black, blue, lilac and orange. The more flamboyant versions have a bold camouflage pattern that gives full rein to the brand’s youthful and unconventional spirit.
Plays of transparency and color, material and camouflage pattern, form a continuum on the dial and strap too, reinstating the Greca as an original and sophisticated detail. This seemingly broken yet uninterrupted line, reinterpreted by Versace through a contemporary lens, forms the metal loop on the strap and can also be seen on the inner ring inside the case. Where we find a 3D Medusa head at 12 o’clock and the Versace logo, repeated in bigger characters on the top ring at 6 and 12 o’clock.
The strong personality of Icon Active, which celebrates street culture by blending an urban look with sport and fashion accents, makes these chronographs not only unique but also unisex.
