Hezbollah Claims over a Dozen Attacks on Northern Israel and Israeli Ground Troops in Southern Lebanon

The militant group said it fired rockets on Israeli troops and vehicles in Khiam, Qantara, and Rab el-Thalatheen, as it continues daylong fierce fighting in Bint Jbeil. It also announced an attack using explosive drones on Israeli forces in southwestern coastal border town of Ras Naqoura.

Hezbollah also said it targeted the Israeli coastal city of Nahariyya and the bordertown of Kiryat Shmona.

The announcement came after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he ordered Israeli troops to expand their invasion in southern Lebanon near Mount Hermon.

The intensification of attacks on both sides comes ahead of anticipated talks between Lebanon and Israel brokered by Washington.
