The Eyes on the Stars program involves collaborating with renowned bartenders, while the Supernovas program spotlights acclaimed DJs over eight consecutive Thursdays from 9 PM, with support act resident DJ Gregorio. Following each performance, Galaxy Bar will release an exclusive Spotify playlist capturing the essence of the DJ’s set from the night before.
Kicking off the series on Thursday, April 11th, Galaxy Bar welcomes DJ Da Capo to set the night ablaze with his infectious beats. Da Capo, also known as Nicodimas Mogashoa, is a self-taught South African DJ and producer celebrated for his innovative contributions to music. With a debut album in 2014 and platinum-certified singles like ‘Africa’ and ‘Kelaya,’ Da Capo’s influence spans the globe. Closing out the month on Thursday, April 25th, Chris, also known as Chris IDH, will play at Galaxy Bar with his profoundly connected sound. Immersed in the captivating sounds of Jazz, R&B, and Soul from an early age, Chris IDH is known for his wild innovation and creativity in the tunes he releases. His music is intensely melodic, and his atmospherically inspired Afro-House style promises an eventful night.
