All public parking will be free of charge during Eid Al Etihad holiday on Monday and Tuesday
Motorists in Dubai will enjoy three days of free public parking this long weekend. All public parking will be free of charge during Eid Al Etihad holiday on Monday and Tuesday (December 1 and 2) while Sunday (November 30) is also free of parking tariff.
Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority announced on Thursday that parking fees will resume on Wednesday (December 3). Free parking, however, will not cover multi-storey car parks and Al Khail Gate N-365.
Dubai Metro timings
The RTA also announced extended operational timings for Dubai Metro.
On Saturday (November 29), Dubai Metro (both Red and Green lines) will run from 5am until 1am the next day. On Sunday (November 30) it will operate from 8am until 1am the following day.
On Monday and Tuesday (December 1 and 2) Dubai Metro will start from 5am until 1am the next day.
Dubai Tram schedule
Saturday (November 29) – from 6am until 1am
Sunday (November 30) – from 9am until 1am
Monday and Tuesday (December 1 and 2) from 6am until 1am
Public buses and marine transport
For public buses and marine transport, RTA asked commuters to check the S’hail app for changes during Eid Al Etihad holiday on Monday and Tuesday.
Customer happiness centres
Meanwhile, all RTA Customer Happiness Centres will be closed during Eid Al Etihad holiday on Monday and Tuesday, but Smart Customer Happiness Centres in Umm Ramool, Deira, Al Barsha, Al Twar, and RTA Headquarters will operate as usual, 24/7.
Service Provider Centres will be closed during Eid Al Etihad holiday on Monday and Tuesday, and will resume regular working hours on Wednesday (December 3).
