The festivity of pomp and galore, Lohri also known as kite flying festival is around the corner falling on Thursday, 13th January, in the state of Punjab, India. Here is a list of few places where you can be part of the Lohri celebrations the Indian way:
Celebrate Lohri at Dhaba Lane with Complimentary Goodie Bags

Priced at Aed 28, the Dosa is cooked with spicy and tangy flavours of Shahi Paneer and is served along with two styles of chutneys. Available at Yummy Dosa Al Karama and Yummy Dosa Discovery Gardens.
Celebrate Lohri at Sagar Ratna Sarson ka Saag and Makki Di Roti
Sagar Ratna, known for serving tempting vegetarian Marwari and Rajasthani dishes, is celebrating the spirit of the Kite flying and Lohri festival by offering winter special Punjabi vegetarian delicacies, Sarson ka Saag and Makki di Roti in a thali style. The Thali is priced at AED 30 which consists of Sarso ka saag and two makki rotis.
Celebrate Lohri with Complimentary Starter, Dessert and Kites at Jehangirs
The newly open, Modern Mughalai cuisine restaurant, Jehangirs is celebrating the festival of kite flying by offering all its dine-in customers a complimentary portion of its vegetarian appetizer, Cutlet Story, (crispy Indian fritters) on 14th January, all day along with a complimentary goodie bag of Til Ke Ladoo (Indian Festive Sweet) on every table. Families dining with kids will also receive miniature kites for children.
Celebrate Lohri with Kites, Amazing Food and Complimentary Goodies at MyGovinda
MyGovinda’s, known for its holistic and healthy vegan and vegetarian food in the UAE is all set to host the first of its kind Kite Festival and Lohri celebration in Dubai on Saturday, 15th January 2022 from 10 AM- 5 PM at DSO HQ.
