The Sharjah Cricket Council has announced the commencement of the inaugural Sharjah Academies Premier League from the first week of March 2021.
This is part of its development programme and 28 teams from across UAE are expected to participate in the Under16 and Under19 age groups.
The matches will be played at the iconic Sharjah Cricket stadium. As many as 420 players are expected to participate in the league and there are also plans to start Under11 and Under13 junior competitions as well.
