Under One Flag: Cognita Schools Host Dubai Police & Choirs for Unforgettable UAE Flag Day Celebrations

Cognita schools across the UAE came alive with red, green, white and black as campuses were adorned with national flags and students dressed in the UAE’s colours to mark Flag Day. From flag-raising ceremonies and choir performances to patriotic speeches and special visits, the occasion brought students, teachers and families together in a vibrant display of national pride, unity and belonging.

At Horizon International School, a whole-school assembly and a special visit from Dubai Police were among the highlights, alongside a flag-raising ceremony featuring oath recitations and an address in Arabic by the Assistant Head of Arabic Studies. At Repton Al Barsha, a Year 1 student performed the UAE national anthem on the violin, while the Junior School Choir sang a song celebrating the nation. The school’s eldest Emirati student also delivered a speech. Both schools featured Holy Quran recitations and addresses by their respective Principals.

Royal Grammar School Guildford Dubai further welcomed Emirati families to join their children for a special flag-raising ceremony. Meanwhile, Repton Dubai, Repton Abu Dhabi, Horizon English School, Ranches Primary School and Al Ain English Speaking School also joined the festivities, celebrating the UAE’s rich heritage, national identity and spirit of togetherness.
