NetScout Systems, Inc., a provider of application performance management and network performance management products, is all set to be a part of the most awaited tech event of the year, GITEX 2023.

Gaurav Mohan, VP of SAARC & Middle East at NETSCOUT shares the brand’s vision and plans for the upcoming event.

GITEX 2023

What innovation is your brand bringing to GITEX 2023?

For CISOs today, the most pressing issues revolve around seeing and responding to threats. Our most recent products and services featured at GITEX will allow businesses to take a preventative and all-encompassing approach to network security and performance.

One of our latest innovations is Omnis Cyber Intelligence (OCI) – an enterprise-wide network threat and risk investigation solution that helps reduce the impact of cyber threats on businesses.

With its comprehensive security visibility and NETSCOUT’s global threat intelligence feed, it provides the ability to promptly and efficiently detect, validate, investigate, and respond to cyber threats, whether on-premise or in the cloud.

Organizations will be able to benefit from having this cost-effective and highly scalable cyber threat analytics system at their fingertips which can also easily integrate with popular SIEM platforms used by many corporations.

What are the set milestones that you are looking forward to achieving by the end of this event?

We aim to establish an awareness of how combining leading global threat intelligence with machine learning can protect businesses in the Middle East from evolving cybersecurity threats.

We will be delving into key regional insights from the latest NETSCOUT Threat Intelligence Report, which outlines new and future risks to businesses and governments and delves into how organizations can secure their digital assets effectively.

We will also reveal Middle East specific data on the top cybersecurity trends in the region (DDoS, Ransomware, Phishing) and which industries are under attack in 2023.

In your opinion, how important is it to be part of such events?

GITEX has always been a significant milestone for every influential business success, especially for NETSCOUT in the Middle East, where digital transformation is up to speed and on top of every business leader’s priority to ensure security is in place.

The event unifies the most influential ecosystem-advancing technologies, economy, society, and culture through the sheer power of innovation.

It’s a unique opportunity for us to showcase solutions that grant an extraordinary impact on society and its people, while distinguishing ourselves in an evolving cybersecurity threat landscape.

According to you, what technology trends will drive business sustainability in the next 12 months?

Over the next 12 months, regional enterprises must anticipate significant technology and business disruptions catalyzed by emerging technologies such as 5G, edge computing, and the Internet of Things (IoT).

These innovations promise vast opportunities for operational enhancement and real-time data processing but, concurrently, broaden the scope for sophisticated cyberattacks. This requires strategic investments in advanced threat detection, incident response capabilities, and comprehensive cyber resilience strategies.

To protect crucial assets and ensure uninterrupted operations amidst potential disruptions, regional enterprises must prioritize cybersecurity, recognizing that the expanding attack surfaces mandate proactive measures to counteract evolving cyber threats effectively.
